How ClueHop uses browser storage

Necessary storage supports browser-only delivery, language preference, admin sessions, Game Organizer/team access, security, local development mode, and consent records. Site use is not blocked if optional analytics are declined.

Optional analytics storage is used only after acceptance. If declined, ClueHop stores the decline choice locally and does not load Google analytics scripts for that browser.

Optional analytics inventory

Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager | cookies and related browser storage such as _ga or _ga_* if set by Google | third-party provider | duration set by Google and site configuration | measures public page views and basic product events only after opt-in.

ClueHop analytics helpers are configured to avoid sending emails, Game Organizer Codes, Player Join Codes, team tokens, organizer tokens, marker codes, QR validation tokens, or GPS coordinates.

Changing your choice

You can accept optional analytics, decline optional analytics, or change your choice later from the footer control on non-game pages.

You can also clear browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing storage may sign you out, remove language preferences, remove Game Organizer/team continuity, or reset your analytics choice.

Third-party controls

Google may provide its own controls, settings, and browser tools for analytics and advertising technologies. ClueHop does not load Google analytics scripts before opt-in unless a reviewed consent-mode implementation is later adopted with denied defaults.
